Building on the outcomes from the planning day Leicestershire LSC will develop external communications plans to achieve the challenging strategic goals they have over the coming years.In 2003 Second Opinion Marketing worked with the marketing team at the LSC to design and deliver an Essential Skills campaign which targeted employers. In addition to designing the details of the campaign and writing copy for direct mail letters we project managed the campaign, which in addition to direct mail included advertising, events, PR and telemarketing. Leads were generated for follow up by the contracted training providers, resulting in a substantial increase in the take up of Essential Skills by businesses in Leicestershire.
